Kim provides a safe and private environment for people to explore their options and issues in order to create positive change in their lives.
Kim is a licensed clinical marriage and family therapist in both Missouri and Kansas. She is also a nationally certified counselor and a clinical member of the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapists. Kim received both her Bachelors of Science and Masters of Science from Kansas State University.
Kim works with individual adults and couples. She has been clinical supervisor for counselors and students. Kim has taught college classes in the field of mental health therapy.
In therapy, Kim utilizes a blend of systems, client centered mindfulness, cognitive-behavioral, strengths-based, solution-focused, and supportive therapy. She works with adults in transition, anxiety disorders, attention deficit disorder, bereavement/grief counseling, child abuse survivors, codependency issues, crisis intervention, domestic violence, gay/lesbian issues, hypnotherapy, learning disabilities, life management skills, marriage & family/relationship issues, men’s issues, mood disorders, parenting issues, post-traumatic stress disorder, sexual abuse survivors, stress management, and women’s issues.
