Hello, I am Celeste Lundergan, MS, LPC, NCC. I have an MS in Counseling from the University of Central Missouri and a BA in Psychology and a BA in Anthropology from the University of Missouri-Columbia. I provide counseling services to children (generally starting at age 3), teens, and adults. My primary approach is non-directive and client centered. I have additional training and consultation in EMDR (trauma desensitization), play therapy, sand tray therapy, art therapy, behavioral/emotional support, and solution-focused approaches.
My approach in working with younger children tends to be more collaborative with primary caregivers, when possible. This assists caregivers and children to increase skill in behavior self-management and emotional self-regulation at home. My employment background includes: providing behavior intervention and support to children in the elementary school setting and providing case management services to adults with various intellectual, developmental, and mental health disabilities. I truly enjoy helping others to heal and become empowered within their lives.
